I am Franklin Mbanaja I have been a human resource analyst who has helped in conducted a lot of Job Interview for some private business, it is important for you out there aspiring to get a job in most private firm or Companies to know what is at stake. I wouldn’t want to bore you with the usual long article of stories but I will be very concise, so you’re welcome to know the following.
1. Your Voice and Body Language is watched immensely: This has to do with your level of self esteem and confidence. Your Employer is usually looking out for candidates that have good vocal and body language. Never say words like “I am nervous” Most companies don’t like hiring such a person.

2. Fake it till you make it: This has to do the way you portray yourself when it comes to discussions especially when you are talking about issues that has to do with money or other sensitive issues that surrounds it.

3. Never discuss Salary in the early stages of an interview: This factor makes most employers know that you are to money conscious and you are not there to yield favorable profit for the organization you are to work with. Most employers may use to method of interview used on your predecessor in that position to ascertain whether you are going to make the same mistake as the former did.

4. Don’t Talk about Weaknesses in a Job Interview: Stay away from discussing your weaknesses in an interview and also stay away from the answer “Everyone Knows …….”

5. Don’t Show Desperation in a Job Interview: Don’t say words like I really need this job because it shows desperation most times rather than wanting to show dedication.

6. Don’t Give an Impression that you’re in a hurry: Please this is an important factor also, it shows in away whether you can work with them in that particular Job you’re being interviewed for. E.g. If an Employer says during an interview can you stay with them till the next day please your reply should be “Yes”.

7. Don’t talk about your needs in an interview.

8. An Interview is never the time to play the “No Comments” card, it will look like you have something to hide.

9. Don’t use curse words or slang terms in an effort to come across as authentic, they show poor communication skill.

10. Don’t ever ask questions like this during your Interview “how much payoff time do I get in the first year of work”

11. Don’t bring up how much you love some of the Company’s perks but it is important that before you come for the interview you know what the organization is all about.

12. Don’t talk about your critical family issue during your interview for example statements like this is not encouraged “I am getting divorced/Pregnant/going through a tough time.
